Reaching the 20-year milestone with SkyRed Leadership (formerly TIO Consulting) feels both momentous and humbling. When this journey began, there was no grand plan to become an entrepreneur or build a leadership consultancy; there was simply a very real need to shape work around the demands of raising a child with additional needs, and a deep belief & passion in all things leadership.
Over these 20+ years, it has been a privilege to walk alongside our clients as they navigate complexity, change, and the human challenges of leadership. Each engagement has been an opportunity to share messages and insights that, we hope, still echo in team conversations, leadership practices and organisational cultures today. None of this would have been possible without the trust placed in us by every client who chose to work with SkyRed Leadership, and for that, the gratitude runs deep.
One of the greatest sources of pride is the brilliant team of Associates that has gathered around the business. Every person brings deep expertise in leadership and organisational development, as well as a shared commitment to making a meaningful difference. Together, we have been able to hold space for difficult conversations, unlock potential in teams, and support sustainable shifts in how leaders show up. The quality of the people within the SkyRed Leadership team has always been a defining feature of the work.
Another defining feature has been the way the business has grown. In an age of digital presence and instant visibility, it still makes people smile to learn that there was no website for the first eight years. The consultancy was built almost entirely on word-of-mouth: one leader sharing their experience with another, one team recommending us to a colleague in a different part of the organisation. Those referrals remain one of the most touching and affirming aspects of this work, and a reminder that trust, reputation and relationships are still the most powerful levers of growth.
